Light-Up device aims to end 'Needle Pokes' for patients with difficult veins

NCT ID NCT06861595

Summary

This study is testing whether a special light-up device called AccuVein helps nurses insert an IV line successfully on the first try in patients who are known to have difficult veins. It will compare using the device to the standard method without it, measuring success rates and how much pain patients feel. The goal is to see if this technology can make the process faster and less painful for patients who often need multiple needle sticks.
