First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tests a new, faster version of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Instead of daily sessions for 6-7 weeks, participants receive 10 imaging-guided treatments per day for just 5 days. The goal is to see if this accelerated approach can quickly reduce PTSD symptoms in 40 adults, including veterans and active-duty military personnel.
