First seen Nov 12, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called acalabrutinib can control chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) while being safer for the heart than the current drug ibrutinib. About 61 adults with CLL who had heart side effects from ibrutinib will switch to acalabrutinib. Researchers will use heart MRIs to check if heart function improves or stays stable over 3 months.
