New drug tested for dangerous transplant complication

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new oral capsule called AC-003 in patients with severe, steroid-resistant acute Graft-Versus-Host Disease (aGVHD). The study aims to find a safe dose and see if the drug can help control this serious complication that occurs after a stem cell transplant. It will enroll about 24 adults who have not responded well to standard steroid treatments.
