New drug cocktail targets hard-to-treat leukemias in early trial

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new drug (ABL001) combined with three existing medicines (dasatinib, prednisone, and blinatumomab) for people with BCR-ABL positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia or chronic myeloid leukemia in lymphoid blast crisis. The main goal is to find the safest dose of ABL001 and see how well the combination works at putting the cancer into remission. About 40 to 65 adults will take part.
