Summary
This early-stage study tested the safety of a drug called abemaciclib when combined with various other breast cancer treatments (like letrozole, tamoxifen, or trastuzumab) in 198 people whose breast cancer had spread to other parts of the body. The goal was to find safe combinations and understand how the drugs work in the body. Participants had either hormone receptor-positive or HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer.
