New drug cocktail aims to outsmart Hard-to-Treat colorectal cancer

Summary
This early-stage study tests a combination of two drugs, abemaciclib and 5-fluorouracil, in people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread and no longer responds to standard treatments. The main goals are to find the safest dose and understand side effects. About 39 adults will take part, and researchers will also watch for any signs that the tumors shrink.
