New scan could reveal hidden inflammation in aortic aneurysms

Summary

This study tests an imaging drug called 64Cu-DOTA-ECL1i to see if it can show inflammation in the aorta of people with abdominal aortic aneurysm. About 30 adults with the condition and healthy controls will get a PET/CT scan. The goal is to understand how inflammation relates to aneurysm growth and how consistent the scans are over time.
