New hope for knee arthritis? drug tested against common painkiller

Summary

This study tests whether a drug called 99Tc-MDP can reduce pain and stiffness in people with knee osteoarthritis better than the common painkiller celecoxib. About 40 adults with painful knees will receive one of the two treatments. The goal is to see which drug improves knee function and quality of life more.
