First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug called 8M2D for the first time in people. The goal is to see if it is safe and tolerable in healthy adults (ages 18-55) and in people with early Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will also check if the drug can lower amyloid beta, a protein linked to Alzheimer's. The study involves 54 participants and will help decide the right dose for future trials.
