New scan could outshine CT for kidney cancer staging

Summary
This study aims to see if a special PET scan (68Ga-PSMA) is better than standard CT scans at finding where kidney cancer has spread in the body. About 300 adults with advanced kidney cancer will get both scans, and doctors will compare the results. If the PET scan proves more accurate, it could help doctors make better treatment decisions.
