Text messages as therapy? norway tests '5 good Habits' for mental health

NCT ID NCT07151573

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether doing five simple actions each day, with text reminders, can reduce anxiety and depression symptoms. 410 adults in Norway with mild to moderate symptoms will be randomly assigned to the 'Big Five' program, a gratitude practice, or a waitlist. The goal is to see if this low-cost, scalable approach works as well in Norway as it did in Australia.
