Simple dose of clotting drug may stop brain bleeds from blood thinners

NCT ID NCT06096051

First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a fixed dose of a clotting drug (4F-PCC) is safe and effective for people with brain bleeds caused by common blood thinners like rivaroxaban or apixaban. Researchers compared the fixed dose to the standard weight-based dose in 76 adults. The goal was to see if the simpler fixed dose works just as well to control bleeding.
