First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This early-stage study tested a single dose of the experimental drug 4ET1103 in 40 healthy adults to see if it is safe and how the body processes it. Half received the drug, half a placebo, and all were monitored for side effects and changes in blood, urine, and vital signs. The goal is to develop a new treatment for neuropathic pain, a type of chronic pain from nerve damage.
