First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) can speed up recovery from nerve damage that often happens during prostate cancer surgery. About 70 men aged 45-75 with early-stage prostate cancer will take either the drug or a placebo after their operation. The goal is to see if it helps improve bladder control and sexual function faster than usual.
