New 3D scanner aims to give surgeons a better map of the spine during operations
NCT ID NCT06267248
Summary
This small study is testing a new 3D scanning device to see if it can help surgeons during spine operations. The scanner creates a detailed 3D map of the exposed bone during surgery and tries to match it precisely to the patient's own CT or MRI scan. The goal is to give the surgical team a more accurate and consistent picture of the spine's position to potentially improve surgical guidance.
