New 3D scanner aims to give surgeons a better view inside the spine

NCT ID NCT06267248

Summary

This study is testing a new 3D scanning device to see if it can help surgeons during spine operations. It will be used on 10 adults who are already scheduled for spine surgery that exposes the back of the spine bone. The main goal is to check if the scanner can accurately match live 3D images of the spine with the patient's pre-surgery MRI or CT scans to help guide the procedure.
