NCT ID NCT06938087

First seen Mar 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This pilot study tested a new 3D-printed prosthetic foot designed to store and release energy, like a natural foot, to make walking easier and more fluid. Three adults with below-knee amputations and good mobility tried the foot during walking, stair climbing, and other tasks. The goal was to check if the device is safe and performs well in everyday activities.
