First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether 3D-printed night guards work as well as standard ones for adults who grind their teeth. Forty-four people will wear either a 3D-printed or a conventional acrylic splint while sleeping for 3 months. Researchers will measure how much the splints wear down and ask participants about their satisfaction and quality of life.
