Summary
This study tested whether using a 3D-printed surgical guide helps place dental implants more accurately than the traditional freehand method. Thirty adults with missing upper teeth received implants using either a guide or freehand technique. The researchers measured implant stability right after surgery and again later, as well as pain levels. The goal was to see if the guided approach leads to better outcomes and less discomfort.
