First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether 3D-printed shape memory aligners can fix an anterior open bite (when front teeth don't touch) in adults. About 51 people will be split into three groups: one gets standard clear aligners with attachments, another gets the new 3D-printed aligners without attachments, and the third gets the new aligners with attachments. Participants wear the aligners for 6-8 months, and the study checks pain, movement, and satisfaction before and after treatment.
