New 3D-Printed braces aim to close gaps without attachments
NCT ID NCT07420777
Summary
This study is testing a new type of clear, 3D-printed aligner designed to correct an anterior open bite, where the front teeth don't touch. It will compare these new 'shape memory' aligners, used with and without small tooth attachments, to the standard aligners currently used. About 51 adult patients in Iraq will wear the aligners for 6-8 months to see which method works best to close the bite gap.
