New combo therapy keeps leg arteries open for years
NCT ID NCT06173960
First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study followed 50 people who had a procedure to clear severely blocked leg arteries (peripheral artery disease). Doctors used a special device to remove plaque (Jetstream) and then a drug-coated balloon (Ranger) to keep the artery open. The goal was to see how many patients avoided needing another procedure or amputation after 3 years. The results help doctors understand how long this combined treatment lasts.
