New PET scan could sharpen detection of rare tumors

Summary
This study will see if a special PET scan (18F-Octreotide) can more accurately find neuroendocrine tumors, help doctors plan treatment, and predict how the disease will progress. About 152 adults who have or are suspected of having these tumors will get the scan. The goal is to improve diagnosis and care without directly treating the disease.
