New scan could spot childhood cancer more clearly

Summary

This study tests a new imaging agent called 18F-mFBG for PET scans to find neuroblastoma, a type of childhood cancer. About 43 people with known or suspected neuroblastoma will receive the agent and have a PET scan. The goal is to see if this scan can accurately confirm or rule out the presence of the cancer.
