New radiation therapy shows promise for Hard-to-Treat kidney cancer

Summary
This study tests a new drug, 177Lu-TLX250, which delivers radiation directly to kidney cancer cells that have a specific marker (CAIX). It is for adults with advanced clear cell kidney cancer that has come back or not responded to at least two prior treatments. The trial compares two doses of the new drug to standard single-drug therapy to see which works better at slowing cancer growth.
