Summary
This study tested a short, 10-minute therapy called Nightmare Rescripting and Rehearsal Therapy (NRRT) for people with frequent, distressing nightmares. It involved 68 adults from a military base, comparing those who got the therapy plus sleep tips to those who got sleep tips alone. The goal was to see if this quick talk therapy could reduce nightmare distress and frequency over six weeks.
