New CT method could spot bone loss earlier
Diagnosis CompletedThis study tested how well a new type of CT scan measures bone density compared to the standard DXA scan. 167 adults who already needed a CT scan also had a DXA scan. The goal was to see if the CT method is accurate and how to make it better for diagnosing osteoporosis.
