New device offers hope for fecal incontinence relief
Symptom relief CompletedThis study tested a device called UCon for people with fecal incontinence (leakage of stool). The device sends mild electrical pulses through the skin to calm the bowel muscles. 30 adults used it at home to see if it was safe and could reduce symptoms by at least half.
