Marantic endocarditis
MONDO:0000610Formation of a non-infectious thrombus, referred to as vegetation, on previously undamaged endocardium. It usually occurs as a complication of connective-tissue diseases and cancers because of the associated hypercoagulable state (see thrombophilia).
