Summary
This was an early-stage study to check the safety and basic effects of a new oral medication called ZT006, which is being developed to help manage weight. It involved 94 healthy adults who were overweight or obese. Researchers tested single and multiple doses to see how the body processes the drug and if it causes any side effects, including whether taking it with food makes a difference.
