New drug trial aims to help adults shed pounds and keep them off

Summary
This study is testing whether an investigational drug called Zovaglutide can help adults with overweight or obesity lose weight and keep it off. About 744 participants will receive either Zovaglutide or a placebo (a dummy treatment) for 52 weeks to see how much weight they lose and how safe the drug is. The main goal is to see the change in body weight and how many people lose at least 5% of their starting weight.
