Summary

This study aimed to find better ways to locate and diagnose the tumors (gastrinomas) that cause Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (ZES). It involved 273 patients who were already receiving medical treatment for ZES. Researchers tested different imaging scans to pinpoint the tumors and collected tissue samples to learn more about the disease.
