Summary

This study is testing a drug called Imuthiol (Zn-DDC) in the laboratory to see if it can kill cancer stem cells from patients with multiple myeloma or acute leukemia. Researchers want to find out if Imuthiol, alone or combined with other drugs, could lead to an effective and affordable treatment. The study involves 70 adult patients who donate samples; no treatment is given directly to participants.
