NCT ID NCT05369299
First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested whether a new type of ceramic (zirconia) dental implant works as well as standard titanium implants when placed right after a tooth is removed. 33 adults with good oral health and enough jawbone received either a zirconia or titanium implant. Researchers measured implant stability and bone loss over time to see if the ceramic option is a reliable alternative.
