Summary
This study tested whether a newer ceramic (zirconia) dental implant works as well as the standard titanium implant when placed immediately after tooth removal. Researchers compared how stable the implants became, how much bone was preserved around them, and their appearance in 33 adult patients with good oral health. The goal was to see if the ceramic option is a reliable alternative to metal implants.
