First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking zinc every day can make Botox injections last longer for people with cervical dystonia, a condition that causes painful neck muscle spasms. About 25 adults will take either zinc or a placebo for 3 months, then switch for another 3 months. Researchers will track how long symptom relief lasts and check for any side effects.
