Could a simple mineral hold a clue to lupus kidney problems?
NCT ID NCT06564181
Summary
This study aims to understand the connection between zinc levels in the blood and lupus nephritis, a serious kidney complication of lupus. Researchers will measure zinc in 75 people with lupus nephritis to see how common low zinc is and if it relates to standard kidney health markers. This is an observational study, meaning it looks for patterns but does not test a treatment.
