First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether a bone graft made from cow bone and enriched with zinc helps preserve bone around dental implants placed immediately after tooth extraction. Sixteen adults aged 21-50 who need a lower jaw tooth replaced will be randomly assigned to receive either the zinc-enhanced graft or a standard graft. The main goal is to measure bone loss around the implant over time.
