Summary
This study looked at whether a dengue vaccine (TV003) or a past Zika infection could protect people from getting Zika again. 27 healthy adults were given the vaccine or had a prior Zika infection, then were exposed to the Zika virus to see if they got infected. The goal is to find ways to prevent Zika, especially to protect pregnant women and their babies from birth defects.
