Summary

This study looked at whether adding a new drug called Zemidapa to existing diabetes medications helps control blood sugar better. It followed over 2,000 people with type 2 diabetes for 12 weeks to see if the new combination was effective and safe. The main goal was to see how much it lowered a key blood sugar marker called HbA1c.
