Summary

This study tests a new oral drug called zelquistinel to see if it can reduce symptoms of major depressive disorder in adults. About 164 people aged 18 to 64 will take either the drug or a placebo once a week for 6 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression severity using standard rating scales and monitor for any medical problems.
