Scientists map the path of blindness in rare genetic disorder

NCT ID NCT06190626

Summary

This study aims to understand how vision gets worse over time in people with Zellweger Spectrum Disorder (ZSD), a rare genetic condition. Researchers will follow 30 participants for five years, performing detailed eye exams and vision tests each year. The goal is to create a timeline of the eye disease, find the best tests to track it, and learn who is most at risk for severe vision loss.
