Teens become teachers in fight against high blood pressure

NCT ID NCT05029687

Summary

This study tested whether a 6-week digital education program, where teens learn about high blood pressure and then teach an adult they know, could help lower the adult's blood pressure. Researchers worked with teens and adults to design the program, then enrolled pairs (one adult with high blood pressure and one teen) to try it. The main goal was to see if the adult's blood pressure improved two months after the teen-led lessons.
