Researchers test phone app to coach teens on diabetes care

NCT ID NCT05953532

Summary

This study tested whether a new mobile app could help young people with type 1 diabetes learn better self-management skills. Twenty youth aged 10-18 used the educational app at home for 12 weeks, completing weekly scenarios. Researchers tracked how often participants used the app and also looked at their blood sugar data to see if using the app was linked to improved glucose control.
