Massive survey reveals hidden toll on those caring for traumatized youth
NCT ID NCT07384026
Summary
This study aimed to understand the mental and emotional wellbeing of adults who work with children and young people in care services across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. Researchers surveyed over 4,200 care workers to measure their levels of job-related stress, burnout, and job satisfaction, and to see how these factors relate to their thoughts of leaving their jobs. The goal was to gather information to help organizations better support their staff and improve care for children and families.
