First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study will test whether yoga classes (both online and in-person) are practical and helpful for adults who have had a stroke at least three months ago. Researchers will measure satisfaction, safety, and effects on balance, walking, mood, and quality of life. Forty participants in Nova Scotia will attend yoga twice a week for 90 minutes, plus one recorded session, to see if yoga can ease symptoms and improve daily function.
