First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a 3-month yoga program could improve physical and emotional health in adults over 65 who had recently finished cardiac rehabilitation. 36 participants were split into a yoga group (twice-weekly classes) and a control group. Researchers measured balance, muscle strength, heart function, depression, and anxiety to see if yoga offered extra benefits beyond standard care.
