First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a 12-week online yoga program can reduce fatigue and inflammation in women who have had breast cancer surgery. 229 participants are randomly assigned to either the yoga group or standard care. The goal is to see if yoga helps with energy, stress, and daily activity levels, and if benefits last up to two years.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer an accessible way to ease fatigue and improve quality of life for breast cancer survivors, especially those in rural areas.
What could go wrong
This is a behavioral intervention study, not a drug trial. Results depend on participants sticking with the program, and the effect may be modest. Long-term benefits are uncertain.
