Yoga program aims to help veterans with mental illness rejoin community life
NCT ID NCT05157620
Summary
This study is testing whether a year-long yoga-based exercise program can help veterans with serious mental health conditions function better in their daily lives. Researchers will compare the yoga program to a general wellness program to see which helps more with social activities, work skills, and overall quality of life. The study includes 112 veterans with conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder who are medically stable.
