Yoga breakthrough eases trauma for women in cancer isolation
NCT ID NCT06263283
Summary
This study is testing whether a special program combining physiotherapy, yoga, and patient education can help reduce stress and pain for women undergoing a specific radiation treatment (brachytherapy) for cervical cancer. The treatment requires strict bed rest in isolation, which is known to cause significant anxiety. Researchers are comparing the yoga-education program to standard care in 98 women to see if it improves their well-being during this challenging time.
